Privacy Policy

Effective September 25, 2026

This policy explains how HoneyWeRank handles information when you use its website research application and account services. For privacy questions or requests, contact the HoneyWeRank operator at urielas1@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Google sign-in

Google sign-in requests only basic identity permissions: openid, email, and profile. We use this information to create or identify your account, authenticate you, and associate your workspaces with your account. We do not receive your Google password.

Google sign-in does not authorize access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Analytics, or Search Console. HoneyWeRank uses Amazon Cognito to process Google sign-in and maintain your account. Your browser stores session information so you can remain signed in.

Optional Google connections

If you separately choose to connect Analytics or Search Console when those features are available, we request read-only access and let you select properties. We use the selected properties' performance data to provide historical baselines and reporting in your workspace. Connection tokens are encrypted on the server. This connection is separate from signing in.

HoneyWeRank's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI models.

How we use and share information

We use information to provide accounts and workspaces, inspect websites, deliver requested research and reports, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, and protect the service.

Service providers process information needed for their functions: Amazon Web Services provides authentication, backend processing, and storage; Vercel hosts the website; Google provides the identity service you choose; and Stripe processes payments when enabled. Research features, when enabled, send relevant website and research inputs to providers such as OpenAI, Firecrawl, and DataForSEO to fulfill your requests. Basic Google sign-in profile data is used for your account, not as research input.

We may disclose information when necessary to comply with applicable law or protect users and the service. Access for support and administration is limited to what is needed to operate the service and address requests.

Storage and security

Account and workspace information is stored using AWS services, with the application backend in the United States. Hosting and other providers may process information in other countries. We use HTTPS, authenticated access controls, and server-side secret storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Retention and your choices

Account and workspace records remain stored while needed to provide your account and requested services. You can contact urielas1@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your account and associated information. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, or billing purposes.

You can revoke Google's connection from your Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access; it does not itself delete the HoneyWeRank account or information already stored. To request deletion of stored data, contact us. Signing out ends the current app session.

Browser storage

The application uses browser storage for authentication, early-access access checks, and unfinished setup information. Clearing browser storage can sign you out and remove unsaved local drafts.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when these practices change and show the effective date above. Contact urielas1@gmail.com with questions about this policy or your information.
